IPA organizes 3-city lecture series
The California Dietetic Association (CDA), a branch of the American Dietetic Association (ADA), approved the International Probiotic Associations (IPA) upcoming 3-city probiotic lecture series for Continuing Professional Education (CPE) program hours titled Health Enhancement Through Probiotics The Beneficial Bacteria for Todays Medical Dilemmas. Dietitians who attend one of the three lectures will receive two hours of credit, which contributes to their continuing education credit for maintaining their registration as Registered Dietitians. The lectures will be held in San Diego May 12, Los Angeles May 13 and San Francisco May 14.
Although probiotics has gained a degree of recognition by some healthcare professionals for the importance they play in health maintenance and disease prevention, many healthcare givers proactively seek additional knowledge about probiotics, especially scientific evidence and application information. This lecture series will be the perfect opportunity to advance the science, technology and knowledge of probiotic bacteria, said Rogovin.
The lecture series is sponsored by Jarrow Formulas and Institute RosellLallemand Inc. Presenters will be two experts in the field of probiotics: Jacques Goulet, PhD and Silvia Lenert, MD, PhD.
