Parker Appoints New Leaders
Dallas, Texas Two current professors at Parker College of Chiropractic received new staff appointments within the college. Kenneth Hansen, D.A.B.C.R., and Jason Vanderford, D.A.B.C.R., will lead the residency in radiology program at Parker College.
Hansen, a Parker College alumnus, was named the Chairperson for the Department of Diagnostic Imaging and Radiology Residency. The appointment will take effect September 1, 2003. He received his diplomate from the American Chiropractic Board of Radiology after completing the programs requirements at Parker College. He is currently an associate professor at Parker, teaching Bone Pathology and Normal Radiographic Anatomy.
Vanderford was named the Director of the Radiology Residency Program. He received his Doctor of Chiropractic from Los Angeles College of Chiropractic. He began work at Parker College in September 2002, after earning his Radiology diplomate. He is currently teaching Fundamentals of Diagnostic Imaging and Bone Pathology as an assistant professor.
The Residency in Radiology Program is a four-year paid position designed to produce specialists in radiology. The residents have teaching duties and observe other imaging professionals in hospitals and imaging centers. Graduates of the residency program are eligible to sit for the certification exam offered by the American Chiropractic Board.
