Las Vegas event draws 8,500

LAS VEGAS – More than 8,500 chiropractors and CAs traveled to Las Vegas to attend the annual Parker Seminars event the last weekend in January. The attendees participated in more than 75 classes and heard more than 100 presenters, who covered topics ranging from the Parker Basic Principles to the latest research in chiropractic.

They also heard top speakers on wellness and chiropractic. Some of the keynote speakers for the event included Dr. Patch Adams, MD, a doctor-clown-social activist who works to change the healthcare system; Dr. Andrew Weil, MD, a nationally recognized physician who promotes integrated healthcare; and Paul Zane Pilzer, the author of the best-selling book, The Wellness Revolution. Others noted speakers included National Branden, author of The Psychology of Self-Esteem Doug Caporrino, “trainer to the stars;” Dr. Tom Deiters, editor of Muscle & Fitness; and Jack Canfield and Mark Victor Hansen, editors of the Chicken Soup for the Soul® series of books.

Bob Eubanks of the Newly Wed Game hosted Super Success Saturday’s afternoon session, and the Temptations entertained the after-lunch crowd to oldies Mo-Town music. Between sessions and classes, attendees were able to visit 250 venders in the 45,000 square foot of expo space.
