O’Neill to appear at Spinal Trauma conference

Brian O’Neill, president of the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety and Highway Loss Data Institute, will appear at the International Spinal Trauma Conference on June 20-22, 2003 in Chicago.

A highway safety expert consulted frequently by both print and electronic media reporters, O’Neill appears regularly on NBC Dateline, other TV news magazine shows and on network news programs. His byline has appeared in major newspapers including The Washington Post.

He is the author of numerous scientific papers, co-author of The Injury Fact Book, and has served on the boards and committees of many highway safety groups. O’Neill also planned and now directs the Institute’s Vehicle Research Center.
