Donation helps save chiropractic history
Foot Levelers Inc., a manufacturer of custom-made orthotics for the chiropractic profession, donated $2,500 to the Palmer Foundation for Chiropractic History (PFCH) towards the structural repair of the Palmer mansion.
PFCH was founded in 1996 in an effort to preserve chiropractic history through artifacts, crafts and manuscripts. Forming the cornerstone of this historical account is the mansion of B.J. Palmer. The current project of the Foundation is the restoration of the organ loft roof, which has badly deteriorated.
"We are thrilled that Foot Levelers has decided to be a continuing donor for the History Foundation," said Alana Callender, director of PFCH. "Their gifts will allow us to continue restoration on the Mansion and development of the chiropractic museum. Foot Levelers is a strong supporter throughout the chiropractic profession, and we are very proud to have their support for our profession's history."
It is important that we never forget where we came from and keep chiropractic history alive for future generations of chiropractors said Kent S. Greenawalt, president and CEO of Foot Levelers.
Individuals who are interested in making a donation are invited to contact Palmer College of Chiropractic at 563-884-5404 or visit the website at: http://www.palmer.edu/pfch/PFCHhome.htm.
