Parker to offer science courses
Parker College of Chiropractic will begin offering prerequisite courses this spring to increase the ease and convenience for students entering chiropractic college. The courses are part of a bachelor of science undergraduate program that leads to the doctor of chiropractic program at Parker College.
The accelerated science courses last for eight weeks, with the second level of some courses offered in the next eight-week session. Among the courses students can take in the first session are anatomy and physiology, organic chemistry and physics. The first courses will begin on April 19, 2004.
“Students can have a seamless transition between undergraduate studies and chiropractic college, because these courses are taught in the same way as the rest of the courses here,” said Dr. Fabrizio Mancini, president of Parker College of Chiropractic.
Financial aid will be available to those students who apply and qualify, and there is no separate application fee for students wishing to enroll in Parker College. Students enrolled in the adjustment trimester, also called Tri A, will receive the benefits of all Parker College students, such as participation in all student activities and organizations on campus, as well as free admission to Parker Seminars.
