Chiropractic Economics to take
a look backward
January 1 is not only the start of the new
year, it’s also the start of a year-long celebration
for Chiropractic Economics. Throughout 2004, we will
be celebrating our 50th anniversary of service to chiropractic
as the oldest continuously published medium in the chiropractic
industry.
The magazine started in 1954 as a newsletter
published by owner-publisher William Luckey. He launched the
magazine format in 1958.
The year-long celebration will begin with
the launch of a special Web page devoted to our anniversary.
You will find a time line that will provide you with snippets
of chiropratic (and world) history. But even more important
— you’ll have the opportunity to sign up for an
e-mailed marketing tip of the week. And when you go to the
site, you find specially selected marketing and patient-recruitment
articles that you will be able to download.
In Issue 1 — our annual marketing
issue — you will also find another 50th anniversary
feature that will appear in each issue of the magazine: Pages
from the Past. We are digging into our editorial archives
to find articles published throughout Chiropractic Economics’
history. You may be surprised to see how far the profession
has come — and how far it has to go.
The celebration will also include a special
mid-year issue of Chiropractic Economics.
Six gold sponsors are making the celebration
possible: The
Masters Circle , OUM , Standard
Process , Breakthrough
Coaching , Hill
Laboratories and Douglas
Laboratories .
