ICA makes a call for papers for 2004 Athens symposium
The International Chiropractors Association (ICA) and the Foundation for the Advancement of Chiropractic Tenets and Science (FACTS) are inviting abstracts for presentation at its International Symposium on Chiropractic: Athens 2004.
The Symposium, under the chair of ICA vice president Dr. Dan Murphy, is being co-sponsored by the Ellenic Chiropractors Association and will be held November 19-21, 2004 at the Athenaeum Intercontinental Hotel in Athens, Greece.
Abstracts pertaining to original research, reviews of the scientific literature or overviews of educational or clinical practice models will all be considered. Authors of accepted abstracts will be required to submit a complete paper for peer-review within a two-month period after notification.
Authors of accepted papers will be expected to make a 10-15 minute oral presentation at the symposium in Athens. Papers will also published in the Symposium Proceedings. Authors will be given a discounted registration rate but are responsible for their own travel and lodging. The author(s) of the best paper will be recognized with an award during the conference. Papers should not have been published before.
Submitted abstracts must be typed with one-inch margins or they may be e-mailed to jmaltby@telis.org by Feb. 16, 2004. (E-mail is the preferred method of submission.) The abstract should be limited to 250 words and must include the title of the presentation, accurately describe the objective of the paper as well as the design, results, conclusions and key words.
Selections will be made within one month and completed papers must be submitted by May 31, 2004.
