Parker College President Named Hero for Humanity
Dallas – Dr. Fabrizio Mancini, president of Parker College of Chiropractic, has been named one of the Heroes for Humanity for enriching and inspiring others.
He joins a list that includes Katie Couric, for her work in getting the word out about colon cancer, and actors Michael J. Fox and Danny Glover. Mancini is the first person in the health-care field to receive this prestigious honor.
Mancini’s story is featured on the Heroes for Humanity website, www.heroesforhumanity.com, where he discusses coming to the United States as a 12-year-old native Colombian who could not speak any English. Through the help of several personal heroes, Mancini became a chiropractor at 24.
At age 36, Mancini is one of the youngest college presidents in the United States. He has been instrumental in helping to spread the word about chiropractic care to the younger generation.
