Nodarse Leaves Palmer to Take Sports Post

Davenport, IA – Juan Nodarse, associate executive director of the Palmer Institute for Professional Advancement, has resigned to become executive director of the American Sport Education Program (ASEP).

The Champaign, IL-based ASEP is a nationwide company that supplies educational materials, course offerings and other resources to dozens of state high school associations and more than 200 universities and colleges.

Nodarse, who joined Palmer in 1990 as director of marketing and communications, said the new position fits perfectly with his longstanding dream to become more active in youth sports. Before joining the Institute in 1998, he helped build Palmer's marketing department to the equivalent of a full-service advertising/public relations agency that today serves all three Palmer campuses.

He also helped expand Palmer's continuing education offerings, including license renewal in Iowa, Virginia, Pennsylvania and California, certification and diplomate programs in sports and pediatrics and a graduate chiropractic philosophy colloquium.
