California Chiropractor Creates
Exercise Program for Non-Athletes

Whittier, CA – A chiropractor has designed a unique way to encourage couch potatoes to get serious and stick to an exercise program. Edward Oster, a D.C. who practices out of University Health Center-Whittier on the Southern California University campus, has created the Personal Fitness Training program, which allows a doctor to stay involved after the initial assessment. The doctor is able to make sure the patient is receiving the exercises and support to meet his or her specific goals.

"This program was designed not only for those who have never been to a gym, but also for people who have gone to one and came away unhappy and/or discouraged," Oster said.

The program features a thorough physical exam, comprehensive functional fitness assessment and 12 one-on-one sessions at a campus workout room.
