New Scoliosis Foundation Hosts 'Spirit of America' Concert
Atlantic City, N.J. - Musical stars and personalities gave their time recently to put on a concert at Caesar's Palace in Atlantic City, to support a new, not-for-profit organization dedicated to researching, detecting, and correcting scoliosis.
The "Spirit of America" benefit concert for the Scoliosis Care Foundation starred Daniel Rodriguez, the New York policeman who sang at the Olympics and the White House.
The event also featured guest performances by recording artist and Broadway star Linda Eder, four-time Grammy winner Arturo Sandoval, platinum recording artist Phoebe Snow, opera soprano Aprile Milo, and a 40-piece orchestra conducted by composer, arranger, and producer Tom Scott.
"We were very pleased that Daniel Rodriguez and his co-stars gave their time to support us at this very special event," said Dr. Gary Deutchman, founder of the Scoliosis Care Foundation.
