Olympic Medalist Gives Commencement
Speech at Parker College

Dallas, Texas - Olympic medalist Daniel Effiong spoke recently at Parker College of Chiropractic's commencement exercises. Fifty-three graduates received their doctor of chiropractic degrees, and 21 students received their bachelor's of science degrees in anatomy.

Daniel Effiong is regarded as one of the fastest athletes in the world. He has won more than a dozen medals at national and international track and field competitions, including a silver medal in the 100 meter relay at the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona, Spain.

He is also a world-class professional football player, having belonged to such teams as the Houston Outlaws, the Arkansas Twisters, and most recently, the Toronto Argonauts.
