Parker Colleges Asks Feds To Give DCs in
Underserved Areas Student Loan Forgiveness

Dallas - Dr. Fabrizio Mancini, president of Parker College of Chiropractic, is lobbying for chiropractors who serve in medically underserved areas to be included in student loan forgiveness programs.

Mancini testified in front of the White House Commission for Complementary and Alternative Medicine to ask them to consider including chiropractors in these federal programs. He also urged the commission to consider chiropractors for primary-care status.

“It is time that chiropractic gets recognized at the same level as other portal-of-entry professions such as medicine and osteopathy,” Mancini said. “The effectiveness of chiropractic care has been demonstrated by many studies, and is time that the proper status is given to this profession.”
