Parker Seminars Starts 50th Anniversary Strong

Las Vegas - The Parker Seminars 50th Anniversary kick-off from Jan. 17-20 in Las Vegas marked the beginning of a successful year, with thousands of chiropractors and staff attending seminars on a wide variety of practice management, personal development and clinical topics. In addition, the exhibit hall included more than 150 booths and tabletops from vendors offering the latest in chiropractic products and services.

Early estimates placed total attendance - chiropractors, staff, family members and exhibitors - at more than 6,500. Updates will be provided in a future news report.

The Parker Seminars carries on the traditions established by its founder, Dr. James W. Parker, by lining up leading speakers from inside and outside the chiropractic profession. Attendees could choose from seven simultaneous sessions, including talks by Parker System for Professional Success (PSPS) team teachers, basic and advanced information for DCs and CAs, chiropractic philosophy, practice success and practice-building ideas, mastering technique, and clinical and technique excellence.

Speakers also included Dr. Deepak Chopra, well-known author and lecturer; Mark Victor Hansen, author of the “Chicken Soup for the Soul” series; Dr. Wayne Dyer, author of “Real Magic and Wisdom of the Ages”; Morris Goodman, author of “The Miracle Man,” Nathaniel Branden, author of “The Six Pillars of Self Esteem”; and Dan O'Brien, Olympic athlete.

Thousands of attendees stood and applauded for O’Brien, who said: “I found the ‘edge’ with chiropractic - there's no doubt about it. I wouldn't have won the gold medal without chiropractic.”

The seminar also featured special entertainment, and the lighting and blowing out of 50-year candles that honored Parker Seminars’ past and the possibilities for the future. A toast to Dr. James W. Parker was also offered.

“The energy at this seminar was incredible,” said Dr. Fabrizio Mancini, president of The Parker Seminars & Parker College of Chiropractic. “We plan to continue this celebration throughout the year with a great line-up of speakers and celebrities coming together to help bring faith, confidence and belief to chiropractic offices all over the world, so they can enjoy the success, health and happiness that others have obtained by participating in our seminars for the past 50 years.”

Other Parker Seminars this year will take place: April 11-14, Dallas, Texas; June 27-30, San Diego, Calif.; Aug. 29-Sept. 1, Toronto, Canada; Oct. 17-20, Miami, Fla.

For the first time ever, Parker Seminars offered doctors who couldn’t attend the opportunity to register to view the conference via web broadcast. Recordings of the seminar sessions will also be available for purchase on interactive CD-ROM for the first time this year. Call 888-727-5338 or visit www.parkerseminars.com for information on the CD-ROM or to register for upcoming seminars.
