Chiropractor Named to HHS Federal Advisory Commission

Washington, D.C. - Dr. Joe Johnson is the second doctor of chiropractic to be appointed to the Practicing Physicians Advisory Council, a high-level advisory commission at the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).

Johnson, a member of the American Chiropractic Association (ACA) and a prominent member of the chiropractic community, was recently sworn in as a PPAC council member at the HHS department headquarters. He has a broad range of clinical skills, and has gained both state and national recognition for his extensive health-care knowledge.

“I am thrilled at the prospect of serving my country as well as the chiropractic profession,” Johnson said. “While it is exciting for me personally, it is even more significant for our profession.”
