Banyan Rolls Out Chiropractic Plan

Los Angeles - Banyan Corp. has unveiled its plans for a new national brand of chiropractic clinics.

The company is in the final stages of establishing the Chiropractic USA chain. Officials plan to convert existing chiropractic clinics to Chiropractic USA-franchised clinics utilizing area developers, acquire existing clinics and develop corporate clinics in a partnership-type arrangement with doctors.

“The clinics under consideration must be mature practices in chiropractic mainstream and have favorable lease terms as well as competent chiropractors under long-term contracts,” said Chiropractic USA director Michael Gelmon.

Dr. Jeffrey Schacter, head of operations at Banyan, said he believes the Chiropractic USA name will be recognizable to consumers.

“In addition, our ability to provide practice management services at reduced rates for our clinics will allow the practitioner more time to see more patients or spend more time on leisure activities,” Schacter said. “As a chiropractor with more than 15 years in practice, I can tell you that the benefits of being a Chiropractic USA franchisee should be attractive to most practitioners.”
