New ‘Discount’ Program Built on Chiropractic Benefits

Pompano Beach, Fla. - The DRS Network, Inc., has unveiled a new Discount Health & Wellness Program, which started out in Florida with an early November beta launch. The program is designed to allow access to a wide variety of health- and wellness-related programs such as chiropractic care, health clubs, nutritional guidance, nutritional goods, dental, optical and more.

At the heart of the program is a supplemental chiropractic PPO policy covering members with chiropractic insurance benefits with participating chiropractors. The opening network consists of roughly 300 Florida facilities; organizers say they plan to take it national.

Under the plan, members visiting their primary care chiropractic facility would be entitled to “unlimited visits, no deductibles in network, no maximums on benefits, and low co-payments,” according to Robert J. Trafford, president of The DRS Network. Plan levels begin at $9.95 per month. Doctors would receive monthly capitation checks for each of their patients as well as patient co-pays, Trafford said. Information is available at www.thedrs.net or at 800-254-2724.
