A seminar at the country club is a key step in establishing a niche in the golf market. To prepare the seminar:

• Contact the golf club head pro;

• Deliver a packaged overview of the seminar — a cover letter that defines the purpose of the seminar, an outline of the presentation, and time allocation (including time for a Q&A), and a short biography of yourself and any other contributing healthcare practitioners;

• Organize visual aids, such as diagrams, illustrations, and photos;

• Practice the presentation in front of a “live” audience; and

• Prepare information about your practice for distribution to participants.

When you make the presentation, hand out token gifts imprinted with your message, along with the package containing information about wellness and the services you offer.

  1. Innovative Ideas from the Homeopathic Experts: Detox, drainage...and you
    As chiropractors, you're constantly seeking new approaches in order to improve your practice and get your patients to their highest level of wellness, whether this means implementing a nutrition program or incorporating an exercise regime.

  2. Innovative Ideas from the Nutrition Experts: Bone health and vitamins D and K
    Recent research has shown there is more to good bone health than calcium alone. Bone, being a living tissue, undergoes constant transformation. At any given moment there are from 1 million to 10 million sites where small segments of old bone are being broken-down or reabsorbed by osteoclast cells, and new bone is being laid down by osteoblast cells.

  3. Innovative Ideas from the Nutrition Experts: Enzymes and inflammation
    Enzyme therapy is quickly making its way up the list of nontraditional treatments and health maintenance methods. For chiropractors, particularly where nutritiondeficiencies and inflammation are concerned, enzyme therapy is something that may benefit entire patientrosters.
