1) Go to Facebook.com 

2) Click the click here on the bottom right where it says:

To create a page for a celebrity, band or business, click here.

3) Leave it on local business.

4) Select your category.

Doctors could pick – Health and Beauty section or Medical Section.

This will determine when people search for a service in one of the sections whether or not they find you.  Pick the one that you would most want to show up in.

5) Enter the Name of your business.

6) Click I am authorized to create this page.

7) Fill in the electronic signature.

8) Click create page.

Now as long as you already have a facebook personal page click I already have a Facebook account. Enter the email and password that you used to create your facebook account. Now you have create a blank page. You will want to click edit information.

Basic information you can add:

• Address, phone number and hours of operation.

• Detailed Info you can add:

• Website, types of parking available and public transport available.

You can ADD as MANY Websites as you want.

Put your corp site, twitter profile, LinkedIn profile, blog and any other suites you have.

Click save changes.

9) Now add a PICTURE!  This is key.

Put your mouse over the ? in the upper left and you will see change picture.

Click it.

Click upload a picture.

Find the one you want from your pictures on your computer and upload.

You can also upload a logo there instead of a picture.

This is the absolute minimum to create a page. You can click edit page. It will give you tons of options. I

suggest you click on everything and play around.  You can’t break it. But now you must give it some content.  Do some status updates.  Give good info.

10) Now you need to get some fans. Promote your page to all your friends on your personal facebook account. Email it to everyone you know. Have a link on your Website to be your fan on Facebook. Have a link on your emails that you send to be your fan on facebook. The more fans you have the better.

In fact every fan you have ALL of their friends will get suggested to be your fan also. If one of them becomes your fan then ALL of their friends now also get suggested to be your fan. If you have value and god content people will be your fan and more importantly be driven to DO BUSINESS with you. There are applications that you can use but I have found that almost all of them for facebook and especially facebook business pages don’t work right.  So I suggest you stay away from those facebook apps.
