Palmer clinics to present health talk April 22

April 21, 2009 — The Palmer College of Chiropractic Clinics will present a complimentary community health talk at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 22, about “Living an Active Lifestyle and Eating Right.”

Two chiropractors on the staff of the Palmer Chiropractic Clinics will present information and answer questions about active lifestyles and good nutrition in the Palmer Academic Health Center from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. on April 22.

Attendees will learn how increasing activity even 2,000 steps a day, eating 100 fewer calories and

losing five to 10 percent of body weight can vastly improve overall health. They also will find out about anti-inflammatory diets and their health benefits. In addition, attendees will learn easy interventions to increase physical activities properly, attainable goals for dietary changes, as well as how to identify possible roadblocks to exercise and diet modification and how chiropractic can help you avoid these roadblocks.
