Tony Adcock Appointed to Nubax Board

Perth, Western Australia (PRWEB) September 25, 2008 -- Prominent Perth company director, Tony Adcock, has recently been appointed Chairman of the Board for Nubax Limited, maker of The Nubax® Trio, a traction device that offers proven, drug-free relief from back pain.

Tony is Managing Director of Red Pill Performance Consultants and has taken on the role with Nubax in addition to positions he currently holds with several other private and listed companies. Tony has previously worked as an investment banker and partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers and facilitates AICD company directors' diploma courses on strategy, risk and board decision making.

Nubax's Managing Director, Ralph Moltoni, is excited by the board's new addition. "Tony's experience in international capital markets and his understanding of corporate governance will be invaluable to Nubax moving forward. We're delighted to have him on board."

The appointment forms part of the company's strategy to commercialise the Nubax® Trio, a portable traction device that leverages the users' own body weight to gently stretch the back, providing drug-free pain relief.

The Nubax® Trio is currently used by over 3,000 Australians, elite sporting teams and healthcare professionals to treat and manage a wide range of back problems. The product has recently
completed five years of clinical trials at the University of Western Australia, the results of which have proven its ability to help ease pain, reduce stiffness and increase mobility in chronic low back pain suffers.

Ralph Moltoni says, "Nubax® is the only clinically proven, portable traction device in the world. Nubax® is able to create significant amounts of traction and has the added benefits of being portable, easy to use, safe and affordable. Billions of dollars are spent every year on treating back pain and back maintenance, so we're very excited about the product's international potential."

Tony's appointment comes hot on the heels of Nubax's listing on the Australian Small Scale Offerings Board (ASSOB). Under the guidance of Perth accredited ASSOB Member, Enhance Equity, it plans to use the capital raising platform to source the investment funds necessary to commercialise the product.

Pending the successful raising of required funds, Nubax Limited also plans to create an on-going marketing campaign in Australia and develop partnerships in key markets, including the USA and the UK. The company is already in discussions with various parties in these key markets and has appointed a distributor in Italy.
