Making Your Goals a Reality

How many of you have begun setting your goals for the New Year (raise your hands so I can see you)? Don’t feel bad. You’re not alone if you haven’t, but there is no time to waste. No matter what your goals are, there is one thing is that is going to be necessary in helping you achieve them. “TIME.”

 

Maximizing your use of time enables you to fit into your days those things that are most important to you. In order to create time for family, hobbies, or personal growth, you must make your productive times even more productive. Becoming familiar with many of the features in your practice management software can free up this time for you.

 

Some scheduling applications have features for cluster booking and for color coding “up times” and “down times” that can assist you in managing your day. Scheduling some time into your day where you can get familiar with how to use this most obvious timesaving tool can make a huge impact on your life.

 

Chart noting, if measured throughout the day, would be an activity that consumes a major part of your time. As you get more comfortable with setting up your “text macro” buttons or creating “voice macros” in the system, you can save immeasurable amounts of time during your day.

 

Billing is

a dreaded task for many chiropractic offices. Full days can be spent loading HCFA forms into a printer, stamping and mailing envelopes, and tracking ledger accounts. Using many of the tools on the billing side of your practice management software and finding a clearinghouse you can trust can save you days—possibly weeks—of time each month.
