Standard Process President Charlie DuBois Named to Foundation for Chiropractic Education and Research's Board of Directors
PALMYRA, Wisconsin (September 2, 2008) – Charlie DuBois, president of Standard Process Inc.®, a Wisconsin-based manufacturer of nutritional whole food supplements, has been named to the Board of Directors of the Foundation for Chiropractic Education and Research (FCER). As an FCER board member, he will participate in developing strategies which help further FCER's initiative to fund and support scientifically sound research to evaluate chiropractic health care.
“Scientific evidence is becoming an essential tool for all chiropractors, and FCER is leading the way by providing chiropractors with evidence-based research and the expertise to use this research in their daily practice," said Charlie DuBois. "Being a part FCER's Board of Directors and helping in these efforts is very exciting."
Earlier this year, Standard Process donated $150,000 to FCER to further the development of the DCConsult website www.dcconsult.com. The new site is designed to provide chiropractors and health care professionals with information that will minimize risk and foster the best possible patient care. Content includes reviews of the scientific literature related to the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of common clinical conditions. DCConsult will grow to feature special sections addressing the needs of students, faculty, and
national and international organizations.
