Life West to host upper cervical techniques meeting

August 20, 2008 — On August 22 and 23, Life Chiropractic College West will host a gathering of delegates from five prominent upper cervical techniques. This event will be the first implementation meeting of the newly formed International Chiropractors Association (ICA) Council on Upper Cervical Care.

The techniques that will be represented, and those representing those techniques, are: Atlas Orthogonal, represented by Dave Amundsen, DC; Blair, represented by John Hilpisch, DC; Knee-Chest Upper Cervical Specific, represented by Rob

Kessinger, DC and B.J. Kale, DC; NUCCA, represented by Robert Brooks, DC and Marshall Dickholtz Sr., DC; and Orthospinology, represented by Kirk Eriksen, DC and Roderic Rochester, DC.

During the event, the council will work on the curriculum and refinement of a diplomate program, policies and procedures for operation of the council, a broad based analysis of the environment for upper cervical care, and establishment of a research agenda for the council.
