Homeopathy offers anti-aging solutions
Baby Boomers want to live longer. But living longer isn’t enough: They want their lives to be healthy and free from disease and ailments that would prevent them from being productive and fulfilling.
Homeopathy addresses deeper roots of diseases Dr. Samuel Hahnemann, the father of homeopathy, used the term miasm to describe the trans-generational causes to disease. The word miasm means “an obstacle to cure” and Hahnemann asserted that unless the obstacle to cure is dealt with, the cure of disease would always be incomplete. In modern terminology, miasm means “diathesis, constitutional susceptibility, or predisposition to a particular disease.” The deeper roots of diseases — miasms — can be traced back through generations to five primary diseases: psora, cancer, gonorrhea (sycotic), syphilis and tubercular (TB): • Psora. Psora means “itch” and psora miasm is considered the miasm of deficiency affecting the bowel and skin, primarily. Psora is the oldest known miasm and is referred to as the “mother of chronic disease.” A few of the indications of psora are allergies, itching, acne, skin eruptions, eczema, psoriasis, toxemia, fears, low self-esteem and learning disabilities. • Cancer. Patients with fatigue, sleeping disorders, flu, mono, fears of unknown origin, childhood disorders, low self-esteem and history of cancer in the family may have the cancer miasm. • Gonorrhea. The sycotic miasm is the miasm of excess and relates to conditions such as drug abuse, alcoholism, greed, diabetes and auto-immune responses. Indications of the gonorrhea (sycotic) miasm include warts, allergies, musculoskeletal aches, rheumatism, Candida, yeast, herpes, vaginal irritations, sinus, general inflammations of the mucus membranes or history of sexual excesses. • Tubercular. Patients with colds, coughs, bronchitis, asthma, swollen glands, sore throats, night sweats, fears of animals or great shifts in energy and mood may have the tubercular miasm. • Syphilis. The syphilis miasm is the miasm of destruction. The brain, nervous system, blood and bone are targeted and result in degenerative, deforming conditions of the body, as well as mental and emotional sensitivities, mood changes, ulcers, cardiovascular weaknesses, alcoholism, pathological attachments to a person or idea, paranoia, self-sabotaging or destructive behavior. It is important to note that the presence of a miasm does not necessarily indicate that one has acquired this disease in his or her lifetime. The probability is that the miasm was inherited generations ago. If a patient comes to you with symptoms suggesting a miasm or if regular homeopathic treatment of symptoms has not alleviated the problem, test for the miasm and use specially prepared protocols and formulas to address them. |
