Cleveland College researcher featured on NPR station
An open discussion on chiropractic care was the focus of The Walt Bodine Show May 15 on Kansas City’s public radio station KCUR.
Mark Pfefer, DC, director of research at Cleveland Chiropractic College-Kansas City (CCCKC) and 1988 CCCKC graduate, and Gail Boyer, DC, a 1991 CCCKC graduate and president of the Kansas Chiropractic Association, were featured guests on the station’s weekly health segment.
The discussion allowed Pfefer and Boyer the opportunity to share changes in
chiropractic care and how it has become more widely accepted by the public and medical community. Originally, Pfefer pursued the appearance on the show hoping to generate interest among listeners in research studies being conducted at the college.
Promoting chiropractic to the media has come in conjunction with other outreach efforts by the Cleveland Chiropractic Research Center.
