DC talks about chiropractic on ‘The Dr. Oz Show’
January 31, 2012 — Steven Shoshany, DC, a member of the American Chiropractic Association (ACA) and recognized as one of New York City’s top chiropractors, was invited by Dr. Mehmet Oz, head of New York Presbyterian Hospital’s Cardiovascular Institute and Complementary Medicine Program and vice-chair and professor of surgery at Columbia University, to appear in a special segment about chiropractic on The Dr. Oz Show.

consider chiropractic treatment before resorting to expensive and risky surgical procedures or numbing the pain with potentially hazardous medication.
The doctors also discussed dealing with inaccurate negative perceptions about the chiropractic profession and closed the segment with an on-camera adjustment by Shoshany on a patient suffering from back pain.
This segment marks Shoshany’s second appearance on The Dr. Oz Show, as he was previously invited by to discuss the advantages of chiropractic treatment for pain management over surgery and prescription medications in an episode March 3, 2011.
