UAS Laboratories Inc. announces new probiotic product

January 31, 2012 — UAS Laboratories Inc. has announced the introduction of a new probiotic product. The product, DDS Plus 3, is based upon the formula, Probioplus DDS.

The product contains four probiotic strains including the extensively researched Lactobacillus acidophilus DDS-1. UAS Laboratories is the owner of the trademark for L. acidophilus DDS-1. The other probiotics in the new product include: Bifidobacterium longum,

Bifidobacterium bifidum, and Bifidobacterium lactis.

Like all DDS Probiotics, DDS Plus 3 also contains the prebiotic, fructooligosaccharide (FOS), that ensures the probiotics optimize their colonization in the GI tract. DDS Plus 3 will be offered at a maintenance level of 6 billion CFU/gram (Probioplus DDS has 10 billion CFU/gram) and is positioned to be the most cost-effective premium probiotic in its class.
