Performance Health introduces the Pedigenix Foot Care System

PedigenixFamilyJanuary 29, 2012 — Performance Health introduces the Pedigenix Foot Care System, a comprehensive line of foot care products that target and help correct specific foot concerns, while complementing the healthcare professional’s in-clinic care.

Formulated to work synergistically, these four products cleanse, exfoliate, soften and deodorize feet, establishing and reinforcing a proactive regimen for preventive foot care. Pedigenix is diabetic-friendly and delivers solutions to help effectively address hyperkeratotic tissue, calluses and bromhidrosis.

Each Pedigenix product is formulated with natural extracts of cucumber and menthol to refresh feet. Other key ingredients such as triple-action Alpha Hydroxy Acids, Urea and Shea Butter help moisturize and improve skin condition, while Zinc Ricinoleate and Pentylene Glycol help deodorize.

Pedigenix can be dispensed right from the practitioners’ office — a convenience that helps increase patient compliance. This system of products was designed to help the practitioner quickly customize easy-to-follow home treatment plans for proper care between office visits. For a quick and easy start to sampling and dispensing, a Pedigenix System Starter Set is available. This patient-friendly counter-top display contains three full sized units of all four treatments, as well as 10 patient brochures with sample packets.

These four advanced products offer the opportunity to prescribe customized daily foot care for all patients. The Pedigenix Daily Foot Cleanser provides the first step in achieving clean and refreshed feet; the

Pedigenix Daily Foot Moisturizer helps keep feet soft and refreshed; the Pedigenix Exfoliating Crème improves the appearance of callused and cracked feet; and the Pedigenix Deodorizing Liquid Powder is an innovative product that offers the benefits of a powder without the mess. It starts as a lotion and transforms into a light, soothing, talc-free powder to keep feet deodorized and refreshed for hours.

“For over 30 years, Biofreeze and Thera-Band products have delivered clinical results with a variety of products that assist in therapy, pain relief, exercise and overall comfort. This was  a natural extension to our product offering,” stated Elizabeth DeFranco, podiatry marketing manager at Performance Health. “We are dedicated to helping clinicians enhance their practice by providing tools to retain and attract new patients. With the Pedigenix Build Your Practice Program and free product samples, a podiatrist can easily introduce this regimen to more patients. We make it easy for the practitioner to build their practice and reinforce proactive foot care at the same time.”

The Pedigenix Build Your Practice Program includes an online Where to Buy referral service, free product samples and free countertop displays. The referral service helps potential patients identify locations in their community where they can purchase Pedigenix products as well as receive podiatric service. The product sampling program includes customized samples with the practice’s name and phone number. To sign up for this free program, visit pedigenix.com
