Future Health congratulates qualifiers of the 2011 Medicare EHR incentive

January 26, 2012 — Steven J. Kraus, DC, founder and CEO of Future Health, announced recently that hundreds of Future Health customers have qualified for the up-to $18,000 Medicare EHR incentive for 2011.

“I’m proud of the DCs who took this opportunity to participate in the EHR/ARRA portion of the HITECH Act,” said Kraus. “These doctors are the early adopters of something we’ll all likely be required to do soon … and they’re deserving of the up-to $18,000 payment they’ll each be receiving soon.”
Kraus is said to be instrumental in the inclusion of DCs in the Medicare EHR incentive and plays a major role in developing Meaningful Use training for DCs.

Kraus and his team poured over thousands of pages of rules and regulations put forth by the government to create a simple-to-follow Meaningful Use and Attestation Training Program. Additional proprietary materials were also developed to enable the clinic staff to efficiently gather needed information, fulfilling a large part of the Meaningful Use requirements.

Teri Hines, DC, and Future Health software user, had this to say about her experience with Future Health training: “Future Health makes it as easy as possible by breaking everything down into easily digestible bites

of information that are easy to understand and act on … I’ve learned so much from Future Health’s Meaningful Use webinars, Q&A sessions, and recorded training. In fact, I’ve learned so much I feel like I could teach Meaningful Use! I’m that confident in the training I received.”

One clinic office manager stated, “The support team at Future Health really took care of us. The Meaningful Use and Attestation communication was great … between the emails, live sessions, recorded training, written guides and daily Meaningful Use Hot Topics. And when we had questions, they promptly responded … They kept us all in the know, from doctors to support staff. I really felt like we were part of a team.”

Future Health has set Feb. 1, 2012 as the start date for the next round of Meaningful Use training. The program includes live webinars as well as specific training on each objective to allow DCs to successfully qualify for their EHR incentive. DCs are invited to attend a demo of the software and learn more about the EHR incentive and Meaningful Use training. Based on demand, the demos are now offered on a daily basis.  Sign up for a no-obligation demo today at FutureHealthSoftware.com/107.
