ChiroTouch extends help to cloud-based clientele stranded by Redpine closure

December 12, 2011 — ChiroTouch, a leader in chiropractic software, has reached out directly to clients of Redpine, which recently and suddenly announced it was closing its doors and unable to provide its cloud-based billing services moving forward, potentially leaving many chiropractors in a dire situation.

“We’ve always taken the position that practice management software should be server-based and reside with the chiropractors,” said Robert Moberg, president of ChiroTouch. “In fact, one of our lead mottos that we’ve been stating for years is ‘It’s your future — Own it.’ We want to express to those doctors stuck in a cloud-based system that we are here to help them transition to a model that ensures they will never, ever find themselves at risk again. We have a lot of experience helping practices transition from Redpine — and other cloud-based systems — to

ChiroTouch.”

ChiroTouch is a fully-certified server-based software designed from the ground up to maximize efficiencies for virtually every process, including patient self check-in, scheduling, SOAP notes, billing, interoffice communication and more. ChiroTouch has developed its HIPAA-compliant system to drastically reduce the time it takes to perform tasks that chiropractors are already doing. That gives chiropractors more time to see more patients — resulting in increased referrals, improved efficiencies, and a direct, measurable impact on practice profitability.

“Our team of dedicated support specialists are standing by to help those chiropractors affected by this closure to not miss a beat,” added Moberg. “We look forward to helping them gain control of their practice so they can put the focus back where it belongs, on their patients.”

We agree, Dr Lauterbach. Throughout 2011 we have covered cloud and web-based software from multiple perspectives and have fully detailed the considerations applying to any enterprise software package. Users should perform due diligence when evaluating contracts with any third party vendors.

Server or Non-Server based has nothing to do with the Fiscal responsibility of any Company. Cloud Based systems have many advantages to server based and a no company would hold a Doctors information hostage. Ed Lauterbach Chiropractic Physician Medicfusion EMR ed@medicfusion.com
