Clinical and aesthetic innovations in low-level laser therapy presented at 5-Continent Congress
The 5CC was organized by an international group of dermatologists and plastic surgeons. This meeting is a professional three day conference dedicated to innovations and controversies in the field of aesthetic medicine.
Currently, Dr. Mark Nestor serves as Director of the Center for Cosmetic Enhancement and Director of the Center for Clinical and Cosmetic Research in Aventura, Florida. He is recognized as a world expert in laser surgery, and provides an array of research on ZERONA, the non-invasive body contouring device.
"We are pleased with Dr. Nestor's presentation on the
innovations in aesthetic procedures last month," said Michael Browning, senior vice president of marketing and business development of SBMI. "This shows the ongoing value of low level laser therapy in the aesthetic field and continues to establish how successful non-invasive body contouring products, such as ZERONA, have become in the last few years."
The FDA granted market clearance of Zerona for the safe and effective circumferential reduction of fat. Patients have lost an average of 4.1 inches from their waists, hips and thighs in two weeks with Zerona treatments. This average exceeds the 3.5 inches reported through the double-blind, randomized, multi-site clinical trials, submitted to the FDA. ZERONA provides patients the ability to transform their bodies without surgery, pain, bruising or swelling.
