Create a learning environment

Employees want to work where they can learn. To create an environment in which a new employee feels he or she can learn and succeed:

1. Show your interest in their success. Encourage questions.
2. Assign your new hire to a buddy who models the behaviors you like in employees.
3. Challenge her to grow.
