Quick Marketing Tips

School days pay

We conducted a Teacher Appreciation Day for a local school this spring and gave every teacher a diploma-like certificate for a complimentary exam. Sixty-seven percent of those who took advantage of the offer have stayed with our practice — and they have also referred other patients. We plan to honor one school each quarter.

Establish a Senior Day

Establish a “Senior Day” one morning each week. Invite seniors age 65 and older to drop in for an adjustment. If they have insurance, fine. If not, accept cookies as payment.

Many seniors are lonely and just want someone comfortable to talk to for a few minutes. A little handholding, a long hug and a few words of encouragement accompanied by some soft-tissue work work wonders.

The entire time I was in practice, a core group of people came to my office on our “Geezer Day.” It was a good experience for both them and us.
