Why homeopathy fits into holistic healthcare

Cultural shifts in healthcare hold great potential for chiropractors, especially in a holistic-style practice. Today’s Baby-Boomer patients are open to new procedures and ideas and desire to explore alternative therapies to answer their healthcare needs. Taking advantage of this receptive environment is a teeming competitive network of practitioners — chiropractors, naturopaths, acupuncturists, nutritionists, homeopaths and massage therapists.

What will cause some of these alternative practitioners to rise above all others? The most successful practitioners will be the ones who give their patients the fastest, most effective and cost efficient results by using the most effective and efficient protocols available to them.

The doctor who helps people with problems others cannot is the doctor everyone wants to see. One viable method of becoming this doctor is through homeopathy.

Here are seven compelling reasons why homeopathy makes a good fit into a holistic healthcare practice:

1. A comprehensive approach to solving problems. Homeopathy offers chiropractic a detailed and comprehensive approach to correcting the deeper dimensions of nerve interferences beyond the bone on the nerve.

2. Efficient, safe and proven remedies. We are intimately interconnected to the world around us. Homeopathy extracts the innate vital forces from the substances of our world through an intensive process called potentization and provides us a comprehensive compilation of our neurosensory relationships to the substances of our world. • Effective results — Homeopathy has a profound effect on the nervous system. Often, symptomatic relief is noticed within minutes or even seconds of taking a homeopathic remedy, confirming its therapeutic pathway through the nervous system.

5. Synergistic and curative. Nutrition, exercise programs, physical therapy and similar protocols are great adjunctive therapies; they can be highly beneficial to a holistic wellness practice. However, they must be used in their appropriate context and applied in the most efficacious role for both the patient and the doctor.

We should be willing to think creatively and apply smart approaches that provide better curative results.

It is common to observe the correction of recurring subluxation patterns using homeopathy, indicating its deeper, curative effect(s). When the energetic control systems of the body (like the nervous system) work properly, everything else works better, and the body’s chemistry balances more easily. Since every chemical within our body has a very specific charge to respond and do what it is told by the energetic control system, when the total control systems of our body function better, the supportive therapies will work much better.

Conversely, when the control systems of our body are not working properly, these therapies cannot achieve their maximized effect.

7. Homeostasis maintenance. Homeopathy, like chiropractic, works at the highest levels in the hierarchy of our health to maintain homeostasis. The marriage of chiropractic to homeopathy empowers the chiropractor to work more successfully with the whole nervous system to better fulfill the high call of chiropractic and allows additional therapies, such as nutrition, physical therapy and exercise programs, the opportunity to maximize their potential.
