Hit a ‘hole in one’
National statistics reveal that more than 25 percent of your patients play golf. One of the greatest strategies we use in our office is to utilize the office bulletin board as a source of information by posting a “Golf Tip of the Month.”

We stress the importance of conditioning the muscles; at the same time we teach different golf terms and their history.

We display golf clubs in the office as a way to strike up conversations regarding how we help golfers with their injuries and teach them how to prevent injuries from occurring.

A little spring-cleaning
Take your staff on a “field trip+” — a tour of your office. Make a list of items that need refurbishing, repair or replacement and assign everyone something to give your office a fresh look for spring. Check the fan grating in your bathroom; inspect the reception room chairs; retire old wall posters and add new ones; make sure all the florescent bulbs are of the same color temperature and replace any that are flickering; replace stained drop ceiling tiles; and update your reception room reading material.
