| 2003
— Ever cognizant of reader needs, the publishers
of Chiropractic Economics expanded its publishing
schedule to 16 issues in 2003 — 15 regular issues,
plus the annual Buyers’ Guide.
The
magazine also underwent a dramatic “facelift”
in design and refocused its content on specific topic
areas that emphasized providing pragmatic practice-building/
practice-management information to practitioners while
increasing the number of articles per issue. The changes
in the magazine did not go unnoticed: Chiropractic
Economics won the Bronze Award for Excellence
in Feature Design and in Writing from the Florida
Magazine Association.
Additionally,
Chiropractic Economics enhanced its coverage
of new products as well as industry news. The editors
began posting news as it occurs to the magazine’s
Web site — a feature that made ChiroEco.com
“the” place to keep up to date on chiropractic
events.
Finally,
during 2003, Chiropractic Economics launched
a new Web site — ChiroEcoCE.com — to provide
doctors of chiropractic a cost-effective and time-efficient
way to get online continuing education credits.
