1944 — NCA establishes the Chiropractic Research
Foundation (CRF) as a primary source of funding for
research in the profession. It also promoted educational
reform, public relations, and hospital development.
In 1967, the ACA established the Foundation for
Chiropractic Education and Research (FCER) as a successor
to the NCA’s CRF and Foundation for Accredited
Chiropractic Education (established in 1958).
